I'm going to chime in on the Scotch discussion too. I had a lovely single malt a few years back when there was a little more spending money (before I took on the big, old slightly decrepit house). I think it was Islay. At present I only have blends on the bar and they're so unappetizing after the Islay I'll probably never finish them  I tried a Japanese scotch once and it was very good. Has anyone tried a single malt distilled in Australia, especially Tasmania? The water is very good down there, clean melt water, and there are several distilleries making great scotch. I particularly liked Hellyers Road's 15yo.
I have not tried an Australian malt - but I will keep an eye open. From memory the Islays are quite smoky.

Hi, I know I have only posted on here a few times but my Black Sex Link was begging for treats on the porch railing earlier and I couldn't help but treat her. I did NOT edit this. If you zoom in you can see how wide open her beak was. View attachment 2248420
OMG @ChickenGirl300 , with that wide open beak and the pasta levitating into her mouth she looks like something from "The Exorcist"! 😂

Love and bad photography.
I was just out saying goodnight to the Princesses.
We like to have a chat before they settle down, so I was standing there resting my arm on the little Princesses’ fire escape, when Minnie climbed up my arms and settled in my shoulder.
It was nearly dark and I didn’t want her to lose her balance so I didn’t get any better shots than these.
Not only are her feet piping hot but her feathers are as soft as silk.
She seemed very interested in my hair.

I am a lost cause - I totally adore her! :love :love

Awww, that's beautiful RC. 🥰 I'm totally envious!

What is the story behind the Littles' fire escape? I couldn't quite see how it was put together in your other photos. Could you share pics of it please? With chickens for scale of course! 😇

I have never had an Australian "scotch". In fact I never heard of them before.
