Her eggs are unchanged since she arrived over 5 years ago. They are just infrequent. I love her color and shape. They are fatter than everyone else's.

A hen called Fray laid the most perfect eggs. There was hardly any variation over the years she lived.

That is the plan. They get to finish growing up together as long as he is a good boy. Isn't it great! I'm so lucky

No sign of Tack today. I may have missed her. I had to go out to get chicken food. No sign of any flock distress either. I don't know if they would show anything if something happened in the night but I'm pretty sure they would for a day time problem.
I'm here all day tomorrow so I hope I'll catch her coming out for food etc.

I guess he didn't want to have a cat that much. Everyone wins this way. Especially the cat!

Ultimately cats will choose their own home and their own human!

I don't really know who lays which eggs as they all use the same nest-box pretty much at the same time. But there is always one perfect brown egg that is perfectly shaped and perfectly smooth - it always gives me pleasure collecting it.
