Oh you have that right! I have three types of water available - disgusting muddy puddle, clean-ish from the rain barrel, and clean from the kitchen. Yup, and that is the clear order of preference. I have decided not to worry about it.Watching where and what chickens drink soon makes one realise that they aren't as fussy about clean water as we are.
You have chair perchers as well! Glad I'm not the only one.Not too hot...yet! Enjoying the morning under the orange tree.

I love their routine. Mine do the same thing every morning as well. No coffee with the Littles this morning, Work to be done.LOL no way! That's the morning routine.
Roll out of the coop. Get a drink. Check out the compost. See if there are still mealies by the tiny peach tree. Move outward by the fence where the lavender is. And then...it's time for a coffee sesh under the tree.
Yes...the sesh happens whether I'm there or not...there's just no coffee. But they are out there, waiting! I'm working too, today. I know you can't tell. LOLI love their routine. Mine do the same. No coffee with the Littles this morning, Work to be done.![]()
