She was only in for a minute. No hypothermia. Pool cam to the rescue.

She almost got out on her own. Maleficent did that the one time she was in.

I think they are at that irresponsible teen age. Look out for fast cars, drugs, loose women and inappropriate boys.
They will grow up and learn better!

Surprisingly, she would not come in. I had to give her and the littles their own.

Thank you! Her name is Cookie ... I know, not very elegant! I always feel horses should have really meaningful and majestic names! But they always seem to be called Buttercup.. Cookie.. Candy.. silly names like that are NOT fitting of such an amazing creature! I know someone who’s horses name is Lunchbox... that’s actually funny!

Wow, I know what you mean, I know horses named Diamond, Apple, Buddy, Butter, Star. I don’t have a problem with those names but the issue is that you can google most common horse names and they all show up. It’s not very original. Like my horses name is Hudson. I haven’t met one other horse with the name Hudson.

We've now got 50 eggs in buckets of hydrated lime water in the hope that we can use them during winter. Have any of you tried this method of fresh egg preservation, and did it work for you? I'm thinking we should be able to have 100 or more in storage by the time winter hits.
