Can't do the chicken days currently, but I can do Caturday and pony Sunday! Murray, the matching kitten to my favorite, Biscuit, was feeling pretty goofy one day last summer. It was only a couple weeks after this picture that he went to his new home. His new owners love to spoil their cats, (the cat they already had was MASSIVELY fat,) so Murray is living it up there with his sister Daisy, (named by the little girl who adopted her.)

Omg, what a gorgeous kitten 😸 😍

I worry about any of you that fall or slip or slide. Put down stepping stones or boardwalk or something on your most used pathway or wear rubber cleated soles ~ we're never too young or prideful to admit we need to do what's safe. In the slippery rain for myself I used to use two quad canes outdoors to keep my balance. We don't get snow so I also have the luxury of using a wheeled walker outdoors. When out & about I notice younger & younger adults using quads or rolling walkers for convenience & stability. The chickens are accustomed to my equipt bless them 🩷

You're a trooper 💙 ❤️ :hugs:hugs

Rosario has gone to his new home; a lady came with her daughter to get him a bit earlier. They have 12, 6 month old pullets waiting for him - he will be enjoying the good life! I have asked them to send photos.

Everyone here is wondering where he is, and Shirley seems a bit lost. But Mr LC is happy he is gone I sure. He is quickly taking over the main gang.

For now I am going to keep Shirley here, he is such a glorious boy I just don’t want him to go just anywhere.

He’s limping a bit on his right leg, can’t see anything obvious, I am wondering if he has injured himself flying down from the roost ledge. He is one big boy!
Tina limped for days coming down or her perch. I bathed her feet in epsom salts for a few days

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! So happy your birds are coming to full plumage.

We had no bald chickens here or ever for that matter. Don't know why our Silkies or Doms never went bald ~ although our Dom Dana did noticeably lose tail feathers.
