I mean, I see how I could construct a dress using that pattern...and granny squares would have wonderful ventilation

My crafter brain has taken over!

I was told $45 was too much at the swap meet so I honestly don't know what to charge anymore!

It's hard to put a price on handcrafted items. Most people don't understand the hours it takes to create something like that. I mean, what's their time worth, is it worth more than yours.

Yep, although I'm fortunate enough to not need to work, I can't just give things away.

Happy Caturday

We found an wild animal sanctuary near our house that we never knew about. We took Eve today and saw some BIG cats (sorry Éowyn).

The tiger was playing.

The lioness held the high ground.

I guess surveying the land is tiring.

Then this bobcat was lounging on top it's house.

I love it's speckled belly. I just wanted to rub it!

Now that everyone ( including a very angry bagpipe who didn't want to jump up the step) is in bed here's an update.
About 15 minutes before the door closed hubby came out and we started telling the birds it was bedtime, go to coop, etc. Spread mealworms out inside where they could see, and eventually they went in after doing laps around the coop. Pretty funny, and done with 5 minutes to spare!


Feeding station/ hawk hide a success.

This pretty pullet in center is Misty Mountains
Now for the main event of the evening,
THE FLUFFIES HUNT

Target acquired, begin mobbing

Target has been flanked, commence de-fluffing

Target has realized what is happening
Fenix has survived, albeit slightly less fluffy than before...
They're going to love when I clip him and send free-range fluffies out into the yard. The squirrels will have competition to grab the fur puffs.

I didn't say you couldn't wear a dress, but a crocheted one... how about a kilt... if you wear it the way it's intended, you'll get plenty of free flowing air circulation...

I've paid a lot of tax today, but this one should probably include a lot of cute girls!

You know Mrs Stratton, men are sometimes jealous of women, because of the clothing issues. A free flowing dress allows air circulation. Slacks or jeans don’t. Men don’t need bras (with a few exceptions ) and a fancy dress gets more attention than a well fitting suit! Women can wear both.
Men usually don’t, though there are those exceptions too.

You could always wear a galabeya, along with cotton trousers - very loose fitting and easy wash and wear.
