Going to wait until the ground dries out more. We had 3 day's of rain here, but finally a nice dry today.

Me, too! I live in the desert, and we had gone too many day's without the needed water, so I will try not to complain about the 3 day's of rain.

Janet is like that most nights But as Mary is so much larger, it has no impact. Once Mary is roosted, she's roosted and nothing Janet tries makes any difference. But poor Sandy is quite little, so she receives the worst of it. While I was in Melbourne, Sandy went back to her old habit of sleeping in a nest box and I'm sure she's doing it to escape Janet's harassment.

Lilly used to do that to get away from Patsy. Patsy was really rough on her. Especially so if Daisy, the greatest hen ever, did not intercede on Lilly's behalf. I would find Lilly in the nesting boxes on a semi frequent basis.
