That's not too long. If we are lucky, Queenie is not sick and if she is, they weren't together long enough for an infective dose to be shared. I would not worry too much.Well I was too hasty about things. I'd say she was in there about an hour and a half. It was interesting though. Queenie wanted nothing but to join them. The Buckeyes were mainly afraid and hung back. I scattered some scratch near the divider - so that helped spread whatever could be spread no doubt. Butters, who is Defender of the Flock when it comes to the cat, got in front of everybody pecking and really kept an eye on Queenie, mirroring her moves.
Still waiting on mine...
It absolutely is frustrating. The real problem is a veterinary community that does not value the lives of our feathered friends the same as they do dogs and cats. It's just a chicken. Kill it and get another. If the government is going to restrict our access to the tools we need to save their lives then they need to mandate training and care by all licensed veterinarians.Amazon.ca, Walmart Canada, were both completely devoid of anything vaguely antibiotic... other than polysporin and ozonol ointments. Amazon.com won’t ship any of that here. Walmart USA has it online for $10!!! Sheesh. I really blame those people who were trying to popularize the fish mox for human use stuff. I do understand limiting the use to prevent antibiotic resistant bugs from developing, but this level of restriction is just insane from a farming perspective.

Stay safe and dry out there. It was pissing down with rain when I woke up at 6am, it's still doing it now.
There's been a large landslide on the other side of the ridge apparently and the track up there is gone.
Lots of people in the UK struggling with trying to protect their chickens from the bird flu outbreak. For may the guidlines/regulations are just not practicable in their keeping arrangements.
No fluffy butts; might have got a few wet butt shots if I had my camrea with me.
Knock from her last sit and hatch.

Yes you are right. I put her back. She was there for one hour only, after I checked an app my DH has and then these posts, that's what I figure. I hope that no damage was done. But only time will tell.I'm going to do it again...
Quarantine!
