I'm a simple person. A lot of the highfalutin' arguments go over my head so for me it boils down to: we know so very little; be kind. :)Animals are sentient beings. They feel pain & fear & I believe, love. The very least we can do is be kind because we're the ones with the power over their lives.

I don't know, but as a house pet the feather's would be easier to see and pick up off of the carpet than dog or cat hair, I suppose. They do make those chicken diaper's.

I like to think we would have litter trained them by now. Just saying.

There's a problem. The chickens metabolism isn't of the type that has the occasional dump; they do it all day long and at night as well. I think anything with a crop is a constantly feeding and evacuating the system.
