Thanks so much. I hope the fluid removal will perk her up. I'm glad that you have a vet that will help you like this. You are very fortunate.

Hope much ibuprofen do you give her?
You’re right; I am very fortunate!

~6.81mg/lb twice daily per the avian vet. I have a 20mg/mL solution and Ruby, who weighs around 7 lbs, gets 0.8mL.

1st was a Sultan ~ whatever that is 🙄 but the poor things can't see & have health issues. Like, duh, I need that in my nutty flock.
The next was a sex link ~ hybrid. Lots of eggs, early death. Never happening.
Easter Egger ~ sorry, I can't have a Sansa [or an Aurora for that matter ~ oops My brain is fried]in my flock & I'd rather have an Australian Aracauna ~ which I happily have. I know you Americans love them & I understand why but there are other girls I love far better. :lau

Also she doesn't have breed information on any of my favourites: Campines [obviously 🙄], Japanese or Belgians. Pretty sure she hasn't got Frizzles listed either as it's an American site. :idunno
Oh Ribh! You are so jumbled up.

Sansa = Wyandotte (which you seem to like)

Aurora = Easter Egger

But remember, Maleficent was an EE too and she seems like your kind of chicken. I think you would love them.

I am very jumbled. Far too big a week, far too tired, & far too sad...
Mal was an exception to every known rule of chickenhood. She was exceptional in every way. :hugs But I don't think EEs are for me. Come on, now, my chicken of choice is a Campine! :gigI don't think EEs would be a good fit with them @ all ~ though somewhere out there there is undoubtedly the exception that would break me but of your flock, Hattie is my love bug! Always & forever a Hattie girl!🤗

Oh no, Ribh! Why are you sad? I need to catch up. Have not been on your thread in awhile.
