That’s over 3 hours away and tbh, we can’t afford vet bills for her. I know that sounds awful!
Unless of course it is to end suffering, then I’d find the cash somehow.
I just feel empty. With Penny I panicked but with Bok I just feel helpless from the get go (maybe because I couldn’t help Penny ☹️)

I found these vets in Geelong, they do birds!

Doesn't help much if they're too expensive but it might be cheaper than you think? I pay $60 for two full check ups.

I’m so sorry Scrambles, I wish I could be more help. :hugs

Oh my goodness! Thank you MJ, I’ve never had luck searching in the past, the closest was Melbourne.
I’ll give them a call. Don’t have the car until tomorrow but I’ll see what they say 🤷🏻‍♀️
Thanks again, search wizard 😉
Hopefully they don't charge too much or can offer a payment plan or somesuch 🐔

So Bokky is still a bit not herself today, not moving as much as normal.
Crop feels fine, poop was a bit watery and urates looked a bit yellow from last nights leavings.
Was thinking of getting some of the vitamin stuff to put in her water, maybe scramble her up an egg?
I’ve just got home from work so assessing now...
Any advice, chicken friends?🥺
Scrambles, I don't know if this will help but you could try here:

Found an amprolium powder I can get from petstock tomorrow. She ate and drank and went to roost on her own, tail up all afternoon.
I rang the vet and it’s a bit pricier than yours @MaryJanet just for a consultation.
I’ll see how she is in the morning, make her some oatmeal and honey.
It can’t hurt to have the Cocciprol on hand regardless to go with the electrolyte and the vitamin solutions for the future.
Thank you all for helping me thus far 💜

That doesn’t sound very scientific! I thought a core aspect of an experiment was definitive end points.
Maggie has definitive end points on her comb. Minnie, not so much.
:lau
I plan to choose whichever method delivers the results I desire. I am a modern scientist twisting data to suit my pre-established agenda. 😉
