A Celebration of Hattie (The Pullet Years)

The following photos track Hattie through the remainder of her days as a pullet. By Thanksgiving she was full grown even if she was not yet laying. It is impossible to share Hattie's life without Jabberwocky. They were inseparable.

Is that Patsy or Lilly behind me?

Yup, that's Patsy.

Let's hide in the corner. They can't get us there.

Jabberwocky would use her for fighting practice. Poor Hattie.

These photos are so GOOD! I can never get this quality of photos of my girls.
Hattie was gorgeous from day one!

Friends, I know the limitations of my aircraft, and know the difference between safe and reckless. I got caught up in the freedom of open space above the clouds, and I did not remove myself from my responsibilities here on the ground, I only stretched my wings (a little) … yes a double barrel roll in a plane not designed for such, was certainly a risk. But a risk that I had to try. (Bucket list kinda thing)

Just arrived back home. What a beautiful day in the sky. I would have stayed up longer, but I had my fun. I sure hope and pray that the FAA doesn’t find out what I did today. No harm, no foul, but a 40% deceleration at 5000ft allowed me to barrel roll in my eagle (SkyHawk) and handled the maneuver without stalling, and no actual undo stress on the aircraft. But it sure was fun. :wee:celebrate…. It would be comparable to Bob driving his little sports car 100 mph and quickly spin the wheel hard (causes a flip) but in the air the pavement is much softer.:lau

You are a very naughty boy.

Oh don't tell me that sort of thing. Are you surprised we worry about you?! At least use a spoiler. Sounds TERRIFYING!!!!

Funny fake egg story. I got mine from TSC also and they looked and felt real.
Well, I had a snake incident a few weeks back, and long story short, the snakes ate the fake eggs!
You can’t make this stuff up!
That snake probably had bad indigestion after! I hope he learned not to come back.

Using a “spoiler” terrifies me. A sound, strong, airplane, and even my car, doesn’t scare me at all. Proof of this, is the fact that I’m here posting to you, my friends.
