Bistro's relatively sleek fluffy butt! I tried to get girls who would be well endowed in the fluff department, thinking it would help with our long, dark and cold winters. Bistro is an Easter Egger so I had no idea how she would turn out, that's part of the fun with EEs! Turns out she is definitely the lightest and least fluffy of my girls, but she lays a lovely blue egg and survived her first winter unscathed, so maybe fluff isn't as important as I had thought!

She has really nice coloring! I love the dark legs.

Love EEs... such variety! They are rather small.. but so pretty.... when they’re not plucking each other’s beards off

Yes! I have to admit that Bistro started plucking Ruth's beard around the end of January. I think she was tired of snow and winter, and didn't have enough to do.
We built an additional run this summer, partially covered in the hopes that having a snow free area will help. We got so much snow last winter! We still had multiple feet of snow on the ground in April !

Look at this handsome devil getting ready to go for his ride the other evening. It takes my dad a hour to get him ready, but when he's done he doesn't have a hair out of place.
