They must taste bad. Mine won't touch them.Yes I know they need to be destroyed - I had hoped the chickens would help. I wonder why they won't eat them - they eat bugs that are bigger.
I assume you mean the flies and not the hens Bob.They don't eat lantern flies. Kill them immediately upon spotting them.
You could add some strips of fabric in a fringe to dangle down too as a warning. Kinda like what they have before a low bridge to prevent trucks getting stuck. What about padding it then?
I wasn’t sure because my Orpington isn’t all that round. That grey hen is not round enough to be an Orpington. She looks a bit Sussexish but they don't have grey feathers![]()
To clarify, my dog did recover. However, I read Xylitol does not bind well with activated charcoal, so I’m not sure I can take credit. Regardless, I think activated charcoal and milk of magnesia are good to have on hand in case chickens ingest a toxin.I know the question wasn’t for me, but… I used it on my dog who ate gum with xylitol. I mixed it with canned food and put gobs of it into her mouth with my bare hand. I was desperate!
They must treat tree bad. Mine won't touch them.
I think he means taste bad.

Thank you. I have typos and autocorrects in my posts all the time, as you all know. I just couldn’t decipher this one.I think he means taste bad.
Yikes!Good grief. I just checked the cameras and it looks like Maggie was in walkabout for nearly an hour and a half before she wandered by the window. Still no clue how she managed to get out of the chicken yard. Or why, really as she loves the long grass in her yard.
