Yes I know they need to be destroyed - I had hoped the chickens would help. I wonder why they won't eat them - they eat bugs that are bigger.
They must taste bad. Mine won't touch them.

That grey hen is not round enough to be an Orpington. She looks a bit Sussexish but they don't have grey feathers 🤔
I wasn’t sure because my Orpington isn’t all that round.
I know the question wasn’t for me, but… I used it on my dog who ate gum with xylitol. I mixed it with canned food and put gobs of it into her mouth with my bare hand. I was desperate!
To clarify, my dog did recover. However, I read Xylitol does not bind well with activated charcoal, so I’m not sure I can take credit. Regardless, I think activated charcoal and milk of magnesia are good to have on hand in case chickens ingest a toxin.
 
Good grief. I just checked the cameras and it looks like Maggie was in walkabout for nearly an hour and a half before she wandered by the window. Still no clue how she managed to get out of the chicken yard. Or why, really as she loves the long grass in her yard.
