He didn’t even want to finish the movie ! He closed his eyes and went to sleep. I’m watching him closely. I’m in no mood to lose any more of my friends!Good night Jaffar.
Thanks, yes it would be hard to know if it would deter a fox, but it sounds like it might be better than my pathetic rock throwing, especially if it leaves bruises! It will leave a bruise on a human if fired at to close a range. Will that deter a fox? I don't know.
I bought a Farm Innovator's heated nipple waterer from Amazon.ca and it has worked wonderfully for my hens. I was previously using a heated pet bowl for water, but the girls were constantly filling it up with bedding with their enthusiastic scratching. This was so much better.Chickies all in bed, horses fed, and a big full moon out there. This time last night it was -20, now tonight it is -22C, it didn't break -30 last night, it might tonight.
Thinking it's time to get a heated poultry waterer, anyone have any preferences?
Tall for aWhy thank you. I think Jaffar is also a handsome guy too!
But I’m 5ft 7 not that little View attachment 2962088
You need one of those bean bag rifles they use on bearsThanks, yes it would be hard to know if it would deter a fox, but it sounds like it might be better than my pathetic rock throwing, especially if it leaves bruises!
Like that one, says fill from bottom, that's very handy. Will call Peavy Mart tomorrow and see if they have one. We don't have TSC any more.
Yep have that problem with the waterers I have, now I keep the waterers on the alley floor haha.I bought a Farm Innovator's heated nipple waterer from Amazon.ca and it has worked wonderfully for my hens. If it were here in California, I’d say it was a turkey vulture. All you hawk experts - are any of these pictures good enough to identify this potential chicken-eater?
Apologies for lots of bad quality blurry photos - it is all I ever get to see.
