The girls abandoned me to go fight over nest boxes and the boys followed them. I took advantage though and am now sorting through over 100 pictures. I do want to go ahead and post this one though as a late mugshot Monday post. I had a problem, Squirrel spent most of the time trying to do this.

New girls!!!

Please welcome our newest family members; three Frizzle bantams (feather-dusters!)

Penguin - a one year-old Pekin/Australorp X hen who needs to regrow her back feathers due to an over-attentive rooster.

Charlotte (Lottie) - a three month-old Australorp X pullet.

Snowflake (Snowy) - a three month-old Sussex X pullet.

I made a little buffet station in the Chicken Palace today. One each for oyster shell, crushed egg shells, and grit.

Early customer feedback seems positive even though nobody has any interest in any of the items on offer.

Honestly, this would have taken one quarter of the time without Dotty’s help.
She is constantly under, on top of, or attacking my feet!
