It is the one hole in my chicken viewing. I am very upset that I broke the mount.

It is a good warning to me as I was thinking of adding a mount today - but I will hold off until it is warmer.

She's determined to set. I tried moving her last night. Was like trying to move a bowl of jello without the bowl and using your bare hands. Decided to let her be. If by some miracle she's successful, her next challenge is keeping the littles alive through deep winter. not 100% certain when she started on the eggs, but between last Wed and Sun, so....tentative hatch date around Feb 18+/- a couple of days. If shes still on by 25, then eviction has to happen.
Thanks for saying something. I needed to mark the calendar.

Are u going to candle the eggs? I did with mine, so awesome seeing them moving around in egg

Plastic can be super-glued. Or maybe zip tie to a wood mount and then attach that.

Yes I just saw on theweathernetwork, you were getting more miserable weather, boy the Prairies have been hammered with crazy weather this winter!

We are under a 'special weather statement', they don't know if snow, rain or freezing rain!!!! Then back to -25 again.... Geez Louise....

Ok here is my 'whining about the weather' tax:

Beautiful today, calm before the storm, sunny and about -3C. I kicked the chickens out for a bit and even threw some scratch grain up on Mount Poopmore for them to find.
