TY, RC. You are correct, I will need to find something bigger. This past week or so it has really ramped up from an every-other-day filling to every day, sometimes needing to 'top up' the most used (first to be empty) one in the afternoons! I swear they are eating it like candy

Yours look so nice! I was hoping they were larger than they are.

I use rabbit feeders from tractor supply. they are bigger versions of the Match holders that RC has.

This one is at Petco but it is very similar.

I use a meat hook. I believe @BY Bob uses a wire coat hanger.

I do use a wire coat hanger. I poke it straight through and then bend it around to hold the cabbage.

That was such a good post Bob. That was the moment I relaxed about apples.

Mrs. BY Bob was wondering what i was doing that night. I said, "I was proving that chickens can eat apples safely". She rolled her eyes and walked away. I do remember that night vividly. I don't know why I always want to attribute that to your thread.

I don't think Ali James is on the site any longer. She one of my lost originals that really got things rolling here.
