Good gamble. That might be true but I bet you give in before I do. Mrs BY Bob has not tried going down the silkie road yet with me. More Polish, Yes! Silkies, No.

But has Mrs By Bob been around silkies in person or been on here to see pictures and read the stories of them? Everything you say about a polish you can say about a silkie. You can also add they are pint sized comedians who think they are bigger then they really are. Your Aurora may be the new queen, but I bet if you had my little Chiquita that little cheeky girl would quickly establish herself as #2. If Aurora tried to bully her like some of my big girls did, Chiquita would be #1. It's hard to pick on a girl when she can duck under you and land on top of your back to put you in your place. In fact, Chiquita is now Butter's #2 in command.

She met @CrazyChookChookLady Mama Silkie. She had never met a Polish in person until Phyllis arrived but Nardole won her heart and she wanted one ever since I shared his story with her.

Fair enough. I never wanted silkies either until I did that test hatch for my neighbor last year. It took 2 weeks and I was horribly smitten. I blame her for my silkie obsession. She could have went ahead and bought herself a incubator to do her test hatch and to this day I could still think of them as ugly weird aliens. Then again, I would not have my Branch, Chiquita and Ezzie and I would not trade them for anything.

I'm sure they are great chickens, but I feel the urge to joke and say "The day I get a Polish is the day you get a Silkie".

It can snow all 12 months of the year...unusual, but it happens....not usually all the same year...2018 did see snow all 12 months in Montana....it helps keep the tourists under control.

Hush with that nasty talk. I refuse to see any more of that garbage until next winter. Even then it can stay away and I will be perfectly happy. Remind me to never think of moving to Montana by the way.

Speaking of Ezzie. I have to face it, Ezzie is imprinted on people, she will abandon her sisters when she sees one of us. Here are a few things Ezzie has NOT learned now that she can free range all day.
1. She has NOT learned to follow me in the back door if it is opened.
2. She has NOT learned if I catch her inside that I will pick up up for cuddles.
3. She has NOT learned that if she comes inside that there are special treats given that she does not have to share.
I honestly have not tried to see if she'll watch tv with me like Branch does. I think there is just some things that I can only share with my little buddy. Then again, 2 tv buddies is better then 1.
Oh and she has NOT learned all the behaviors in under a weeks time.
