Ok, she still just has the 1, and nothing yet from the other 2 eggs. And I messed up, she did not get 4 daisy eggs, she got one of Blueberry's darker eggs. In fact, now that I pulled the other 2 out into the light to listen to them to see if I heard chicks peeping, they could all be Blueberries.
It is a cute little thing though.

Adorable!

I'm sorry but I'm laughing at that. Of course she wants a Polish. You copied my Marans now you need to have some of these. 😆

They really are marvelous chickens.

No, seriously.

They are great chickens.

Really. I'm not kidding.
I'm sure they are great chickens, but I feel the urge to joke and say "The day I get a Polish is the day you get a Silkie".

Had several inches yesterday morning....mostly melted off by nightfall
Our problem is that the snow from winter hasn't melted yet. I have been shovelling sled full after sled full of snow out of the chicken run, so fresh snow on top is not helping! The hens do love to clamber up on the big pile in their run though. It's their lookout! @Ponypoor has Mt. Poopmore and my girls have Mt. Snowmore!

😆 Good gamble. That might be true but I bet you give in before I do. Mrs BY Bob has not tried going down the silkie road yet with me. More Polish, Yes! Silkies, No.
