Yesterday the flock got a treat of Cottage Cheese. It was a huge hit with Raven and the hooligans especially. Look at Raven though, she is not black she's blue and green.

I must start giving mine yogurt! Yours love it!

It absolutely would not surprise me now to hear Ezzie crow for the first time. I'm starting to see more and more roostery behavior although at 5 months and being single combed I would expect more of a comb and some wattles by now. Chiquita's comb is still bigger.

Do silkie roosters have more of a hen like carriage? Ezzie does not stand like any cockerel I have seen. The stance is very hen like.

I can't say how much this means to me. I am trying very hard not to put too much pressure on her. No matter what I will be thrilled to just see her walk across the lawn.

And to write this while going through what you have had to today. Ot means so much.

I thought about leaving my lawn chair out for about 10 seconds, then thought about a juicy cecal poop being deposited on it and thought nope not happening!!!

With Roxanne and Stanley I would have sworn Rox was a hen, in fact when I heard that first crow I knew it was Stanley......... Image my shock, surprise, dismay in seeing it was Roxanne !!

Rox never did hold herself (um sorry himself) like a Roo, Stanley on the other hand was all Roo! BUT Roxanne was the boss... ?
