Clean up on aisle 5
This is the aftermath of a major feeding frenzy. Scrambled egg with rice and melon guts. Lord I thought I wouldn’t get out of there alive!
Bella nearly knocked herself unconscious on the hanging feeder in her excitement to get to the melon guts and everyone forgot to attack each other in their enthusiasm.
I have escaped and managed to get a shot of the clean-up crew at work.

Yep, my littles are always last in. I used to bribe everyone with a treat. A little cracked corn or a few mealworms. It's no wonder they all come running when they see me these days!

It's an excellent system. Sadly Mrs BY Bob trained to come to the back door for snacks. Now you don't dare open the back door at dusk or they will all unroost and come running back out of the coop.

It is going amazingly well. Next step is to remove the fire escape. They are no longer using it to hide from the big chickens so it can come out. But, they are using it as a landing pad to get to the roost they have decided they like. I am not sure if they can get up to the roost without it. I guess there is only one way to find out!
