And roosting “outside” means they are still in a protected area.. correct... if not.. then you must be frantic!?!I'm guessing it's either the fan, but it is quiet and gentle. Hattie actually roosted in front of it last night, or the heat. Probably the heat. When they roost it is really hot out. The sun has been beating on the coop since about 3:00. It is smokey in there. Now the fan brings it down a lot. Especially as the outside cools. At midnight last night there was no panting on the roost. Not too bad.
It could also be that they got caught outside messing around late or Lilly decided to chase them out late. I will try and spy on things tonight.
