Nope. Put her on, shut the roof, then I hear this ‘thud’ as she jumps down. I tried again and she panicked, so I left her. :he I’ve got a friend who makes her roosts out of branches as they’re round and more claw-friendly.

She may decide to go up there by herself. Maybe put a couple of meal worms up there to encourage her?

They have specific likes. She will eventually go up on her own. They do like branches so that might help. I like how you mounted it. It is in their nature to roost for their own safety so they should recognize the opportunity at some point.

Mr. Bunny

Looks like Mr. Bunny is all grown now. He still likes hanging around the ladies. They are much more tolerant of him now.

Hey everyone, I had the idea that we should find our funniest photos of our chooks and share them. I’d like to offer up one of my favourite pictures of Chickie, who decided that as she is a bird, she should be in a tree. She got in there by herself, turned around and hopped out again. I tried getting a video but only got a few seconds. It’s also a fluffy butt photo! :thumbsup

This one has struck me as a goofy moment. Back when Maleficent was broody she decided to take on both #1 and #2 in the pecking order for some reason. She swelled up like a turkey and would not let them by. They could have easily just walked around her instead here the 3 of them were, beak to beak, no one willing to blink.

It always reminds me of Gandalf vs the Balrog. "You shall not pass!" Except anyone could have simply walked around. :gig
