The sun never came out yesterday and the ice melted last night. So here is the birch tree over the coop from a storm last year.

And here is a tree in my front yard from last February lit up by my porch light.

We get quite a few ice storms here. I dislike then greatly. Pretty but you must stay home. Too dangerous to go anywhere. I prefer snow.

Introductions

Today was a special day for Eve and me. We finally got to spend some time together. Of course Eve needed to meet the girls. It was too cold to take her out so the backdoor was the perfect solution.

Eve and Maleficent spent a great deal of time staring into each other's eyes.

While they were most interested in each other, Eve's favorite was clearly Aurora. She cackled everytime Aurora came over to the door.

After spending time with the ladies it was time for us to enjoy her new book together. I love this story and Eve enjoyed hearing it today for the first time.

It was a special time together.

She is back home in Virginia now. I miss her.

And so ill tell you all this is why i have to bribe our teen to watch the kids even when her fathers home. She helped/encouraged this

Very pretty, Bob, but waaay too cold for me I'm afraid. My OD just sent through some similar pics from Hungary. She is going to get a climate shock when she hits Brisbane tomorrow!
