Snowy Day Treats

I just got back in from visiting the ladies. I took their heated water dispenser back out and brought some treats to them. Another cabbage and some blueberries which I handed out individually. We sat and visited for a while. Maleficent roosted next to me for a while wanting to read over my shoulder. Aurora came out of the coop, had some cabbage and blueberries then went back in and in short order laid her egg for today.

It was a pleasant visit for all in the middle of a winter storm.

Between the water situation and the handfed blueberries I think your friends are very happy you're home again.

The last paper I read they had been tested up to 109......and they didn't need to use their toes.
I've had a couple of roosters go for me when I've been caught stealing eggs. They seem more bothered about it than the hens.

I would think counting would be a good skill for a flock animal - checking everyone got home safe, that sort of thing.

He also gave me some of the special pickling seasoning blend he makes And i always wish id brought more money
