It was and is.The better bit is I'm wrong a lot.
I sincerely hope you can get it to work Bob. As you know, I'm not a fan of mixed flocks, despite having one here to all intents and purposes now.
I'm concerned about Phylis mostly. Peoples whose opions I respect have mixing polish with other breeds down as a definite no. It doesn't mean it can't work and I'm sure people can cite examples of where it has in their flock.
It's a bit like game roosters in a mixed flock. Some people get it to work it seems but most experienced keepers where I live at least will tell you it just isn't worth the trouble.
You still dragging a piece of semi precious stone around a plastic groove then Bob.Love the reference. I'm going to go slip the vinyl onto the turntable. My wife will live coming home to that!
Ok. Folk was always my thing. Once the modern scene moved into disco & hard metal & punk they lost me. When my youngest started music I moved more into classical so I've missed a lot of stuff.I still listen to them. I've got Wrecking Ball by Grace Slick which isn't bad. The Baron Von Tollbooth & The Chrome Nun is worth listening to.
When I finished college and started work the first thing I bought was a decent stereo. It's been about the one constant in a fairly, erm, liquid life. I built a lot of the stereo equipment I use and at last count I had almost 2500 albums. I don't have TV nor want one so my evenings are spent listening to music. Chickens out; music on.Ok. The albums are gathering dust because the stereo was fluid*. You tube is great though. I don't watch much tv but the men in my life do fishing & sport. When I finished college and started work the first thing I bought was a decent stereo. And the colored ones.......... don't forget the colored ones.![]()
So awesome! What is that great space you have them in?
Now that is an interesting question. I've been chatting to my Finnish friend about just this. He has both free range and contained. He's involved in a repopulating endangered breeds project.Do free-range chickens have as many squabbles as cooped up ones?
