I had a bag of mixed nuts , dried fruits and seeds that I never got around to finishing.
Shad's talk of walnuts made me think of them. I offer them to the girls but hit them with half a brick first to break them up ....the nuts! Not the girls!
Have you thought of putting a small deck outside that door Lozzy? Then you could have a seat out there with them and wash all the poop down between the slats!![]()
My youngest took Lacy out for her afternoon constitutional.
I don't think Alice understands the concept of "cat"
Bing Bong! You are spot on Lozzy! Is Lacy a Cornish Rex?
We have some good cat people on here. I'm not surprised someone nailed her breed first time. Great job @LozzyRBing Bong! You are spot on Lozzy!
Most people haven't even heard of them![]()
Well the chickens will be moved likely the day, so will the horse and the dogs. And the rabbit and guinea pig too. But we need to paint and stuff before we move in so that will take a bit of time, not long though. Maybe a week?Good luck with the move Butterscotch. You sound like you are pretty much ready.
Moving the animals will take some planning I expect. How will that be done?

I'd love to see a photo of the new coop when it's all set up!Well the chickens will be moved likely the day, so will the horse and the dogs. And the rabbit and guinea pig too. But we need to paint and stuff before we move in so that will take a bit of time, not long though. Maybe a week?
I can't wait until my black walnuts ripen and I try and break in to them. Not sure who will score, me or the chickens. Maybe we will share. Or maybe I will run out of energy after cracking only one in which case we may not share! They are also quite expensive. The standard now is no more than 2 per hen. I am not going to beg them to eat them. If a hen is too lazy to break them up, i have plenty who are willing to do so. Their loss.
