That was my point, actually!Well, turns out Jesus came from Nazareth. So, there's that. And BY Bob comes from Jersey.![]()
Just hilarious. You may need to ask for forgiveness from your youngest daughter but it is so perfect. Can Phyllis do all those jumping up and down routines? Does she cheer a particular team?Shake Your Pom Pon
For those around the world that may not know what a pom pon is, in the US we have cheerleaders for spring events. Every high school event has them. They have puffy balls they hold in their hands that they shake as they cheer, called pom pons. Here is my youngest in her cheerleading outfit holding her pom pons. (She would be horrified if she knew I was posting this photo. She is an attorney now and would find this embarrassing. So serious now. All the more reason to share it. @Grammy60 this is mischief for me today.)

Why cheerleading photos on a chicken website?
Well everytime I see Phyllis groom herself, I picture a cheerleaders pom pon.I just can't help myself.
Check her out. Phyllis and Lilly were also quite iridescent without direct sunshine in the video.
BY Bob is one of a kind! That was my point, actually!
Well, she is pretty good at the gymnastics required at roosting time.Just hilarious. You may need to ask for forgiveness from your youngest daughter but it is so perfect. Can Phyllis do all those jumping up and down routines? Does she cheer a particular team?
It's a really hard choice.@LozzyR she will be ok if she was doing fine 5 minutes or so after. Handling animals is unpredictable at the best of times, there was no way for you to have known that would happen
and @featherhead007 like Bob says... don’t beat yourself up, you’re a great chicken tender. I wish I had someone with your dedication here to help me with my Roostie.
I am debating bringing him into the trailer and putting him in a chicken sling. It will break his heart being separate from his flock, and probably stress him too much, but he isn’t even trying to walk anymore.
It's a really hard choice.I don't know what I'd do. I sure hope Roostie gets well really soon!
That reminded me of the time I posted on FB that my DH was in the hospital with congestive heart failure. I forgot both of his kids were linked to me there, and I got too frantic phone calls asking when they should fly in.Somehow the tag on @WhoDatChick ’s post didn’t make my notifications... I hope she can help her neighbor out.
@BY Bob thanks for the cheerful imagery of Phyllis and her Pom pons I am sure your daughter will forgive you if she every finds out you leaked that pic on an almost social media platform
Luckily for me my Father has a huge hatred of Facebook and anything not NASCAR related the Internet! I think this will one day end with the murder of my Facebook addicted and socially inept Uncle-by-marriage (who no one is fond of). He once shared the news of the death of his sister-in-law, before the bereft husband was able to notify his own family. Every single time something comes up in the family and I call my dad about it, it’s “you didn’t hear about it on that d*** Facebook did you? Did Jim post something...”
*I’m making light of it now, it has been over a year, and it was a lengthy illness that she was hiding from most of the family. No offense intended, I have a morbid sense of humor thanks to my mother, so please pass any complaints on to her!
