Thanks for the tour. I love the kisses street lights. I don’t remember them from my only visit to Hershey, but I think I only saw the hotel really. It was a work meeting.
They are only downtown. They hotel is up on the hill. That would probably be why you did not see them.

That was really interesting! Thanks! The things that struck me the most were the height of the sun at lunchtime (I'm used to a higher sun, but you're just heading into winter which would explain a lot) and the variety in the Autumn foliage, which is just beautiful. At one point you were turning left and on your left within the turn was abig old building, maybe 3 stories, and it looked like a coach house. It was across from a fancy white one with a pediment. What is that old coach house looking building?
That is the Hershey Press Building. It is very cool. They just completed restoration of it in 2007. It was built for Milton Hershey and was originally constructed to house a local commercial printing company. It would soon serve as the home of the Hershey Laundry, 1920-1934, a bakery, and the Hershey Department Store from 1920 until its closure in 1973. It is 104 years old. It now has restaurants and Hershey human resources offices in it.

The foliage is what started my mind thinking about recording the drive through town. The leaves are on the trees surprisingly late this year. It is possible for us to have snow by now as @CrazyChookChookLady did before Halloween.

We are a little more than a month from the shortest day of the year. The angle of the sun is quite low right now. In fact, this is the only time of the year when it comes up behind my coop.

No Need to Worry about Drownings for a while

The pool is closed.

Always a sad day in these parts.

Driving Tour of Hershey

It was 78°F (25.5°C) Today in Hershey, PA. Mrs BY Bob was off work today so we piled in the convertible and went to town for lunch. As we were heading into town I thought, this would make a great "look at where we live" video. So I flipped on the video camera and narrated a 7 min drive through town. The sun interferes at the end but overall I think it will give you a little idea of where we live.

Its a good thing I've been there before as I tried to watch it, the movement on the screen started bothering me 😩 I enjoyed what I did see, so thank you!!

Not sad to not drown any chickens, but sad to see it covered up.
Thank you for the clarification. Yes it is not sad that chickens will no longer down. Although......🤔.......... that would solve the Aurora problem. Just kidding. I don't mean that. Just kidding. I'd be crushed if something happened to her.

It is sad because around here it means that the "winter season" is officially upon us. The backyard looks so much better with a pool in it than this tarp looking thing. Mrs BY Bob lives to be in the sun. This officially ends that possibility. So it is a sad day.

We had a pool in PA, and I always felt sad when it was time to close it. It was such a beautiful water-feature!
