Listen peeps, I can't just order up a new "tribe"of chickens, here in Central Cal. And it's actually very hard to replace ones I have hatched from their eggs- to me now.
FAA won't even let me fly some back from MurrayMcMurray due to the avian quarantine in CA. So I just need you all to pray for my Canna's survival. Thank you.

This is awesome! Where did you find that light up chicken? It reminds me of the reindeer and blow up snowmen!

Tractor Supply Company. I got mine 2 years ago, @WhoDatChick just got one this year so they still have them. It was a little pricy if I remember right.

I'm not a fan of leg bands. Some of the chickens here had them fitted when they were young and as they grew the bloody things got tighter and tighter. I cut them all off apart from Fat Birds which I check weekly.
For short term identification in single breed flocks here they use food dye on one wing.

That's clever!
