I am not sure what I am looking at (and I am not sure I want to!) but given they were cleaning cat fish the fish ate a rat? Looks like a small dog actually. Yuk!

Yes... the fish ate a rat.. if you zoom in you can see the teeth

I think I prefer my rats either undigested or fully digested. Part way is not something I need really.

As my heart stopped racing I remembered of course that nature will get its own back. The inevitable result of cutting it back that hard is that it will come back stronger and thicker in the spring. I feel better knowing that.

I was thinking that, too! It should be nice and dense when it comes back.
