Weirdly I don’t have many walls. I live in a house that is one room thick with windows on both sides of each room and on 3 sides of the rooms at the ends. Like train carriages.
I love it because it is like living outside with the daylight and greenery, but it is a challenge in terms of furniture against walls and hanging anything!
I need to inspect the walls and see how to make space.
There are two ‘upstairs’ guest bedrooms in the attic - they have some wall but mainly only 2’ high before the roof slope.
Hmmm. :idunno

I’m intrigued. I’m trying to picture your house in my mind (and failing!)

The easiest way to think about it is train carriages. You have to go through one room to get to the next one. No halls or passageways. So each room (except the two at the ends) has two walls that are windows and two that are doors into the next room on the daisy chain. The rooms at each end have glass doors to the outside instead of to the next room, so they are 3 sides all glass.
I am over-simplifying a bit, but not much.
It is a bit eccentric. It is converted animal barn, milking parlor etc. from the 1880s I think.

But where do you put your bookshelves? That was a big part of our decision to build... need lots and lots of walls for the precious books!

Before all the rumors reach this thread, I want to announce that one of my babies passed away at 02:00 pst and I’m extremely upset about it
I’m so sorry you lost one :hugs
Update: been picking little poopies off them all night long. (Saved two lives, but did lose one today) :hit
This can be due to stress from transport too, before they got to where you picked them up that is. I’ve had less troubles with the heat plates. Another thing to watch for is if they are getting enough water to drink. I sometimes like to give them a wet starter crumble mash to help with this. Sometimes there is just nothing you can do though. :hugs:hugs
