BY Bob, its a long shot considering you've been drowning in snow, but, the days are getting longer. Any chance she's just starting to think of going broody? A slight change in attitude is one of the first signs I notice in my girls.

This is a good thought. I think its a little early for that temperature wise. We are in the 20s all day. I can't see her wanting to hatch when it's that cold.

She also not tut tutting around. She also showed no inclination to hatch last year although I suppose that is not to say she wouldn't this year.

I'm not sure what is going on. I also thought she was not enforcing the pecking order like usual in that she was kinder to Sydney and Phyllis than normal. I'm afraid I may need to pluck her off the roost and give her a good once over. Of course if she is angry over me daring to touch her, this will just make it worse.

I’ve offered her cheese and mealy worms today and she made her excited clucking noises. Turned her beak up at the porridge though.

They do have their favorites!

My internet is cranky... I think, I’ve been having lots of trouble uploading pics since the last update, it looks fine until I hit post. Trailer shouldn’t have any new leaks I hope. You just need a big piece of cardboard to put over top when you are not working on it. Then they can't mess with it.

Just watched the funniest thing.
A big moth flew out of the garage and Belle and Snow took off after it, leaping at each other when they lost sight of it.
Bok came over and couldn’t have cared less.
It landed on the grass and they weren’t sure what to do with it. After careful inspection, they walked off and left it alone
