Hi friends. This is a tough week for me to keep up. However, I just wanted to share two things:
1. I finished my first quilt.
2. I just received my second COVID vaccine and I’m in the observation area.

More Signs of Spring

While it was snowing again in NJ this weekend, , here in springy PA I planted flowers on the coop porch.

Can you see my little chicken shadow around my feet? I have to be so careful with her. She follows me everywhere.

Who else but Photobomber Phyllis?

The flowers look great, Bob. One of my first-ever irises looks like it will bloom soon, too! Spring has definitely sprung!

First let me say how blessed I am to live in a time when we can share videos like this. It's wonderful to get at least some snippets of Eve.

I am so proud that she is being raised to understand chickens and speak their language. They say it is easier to learn a language when you are young.

Oh my heart!!! Absolutely precious!!!! Love, love, love this! I hope for grand babies someday.

Is that a wild turkey? They are all over our mountains.

You all gave me a moment of doubt - I believe it is a wild turkey. There were a couple of them. Normally I see them in larger numbers and this seems like a very 'leggy' one. But I am pretty sure it is a turkey.
