Some grass types are very tough. The granite grit could help. You got adult grit, not the chick-sized grit? The longer the bits are the harder it will be to digest them. Long whipper-snipped / weed-whacked tough grass leaves (that she isn't snipping off herself) can be a problem.
It seems in Aus that grit isn’t a thing. Shell grit is available anywhere but insoluble grit, as I’ve said, isn’t even a thing. I had to get granite ‘dust’ which is the grit off the rock granite they sell for gardens, and they couldn’t believe I was buying it for chickens to ingest if they chose to.
I know they get it out of my garden but I just wanted to give them more as an option.
And I mowed the lawn myself last weekend so there’s no long bits for her to get, it’s all her own snipping.
Thank you @ChicoryBlue!

The thing about granite is the sharp edges it naturally has when broken. So it is a very effective grit combined with the muscle action. It shouldn't be necessary if they are getting enough other rocks of all different sizes in their foraging. So I'm guessing she is eating very long pieces of grass lying about.

One of the EE's has wry neck. She was fine this morning. Rich checked on them when he got home and she was flat out on her back and not moving. He put it outside to bury.

I came home from work and heard a chick peeping. I found it and brought it inside. I looked at it and it was all floppy with her eyes closed. I gave her vitamins and put her in a warm place. Within the hour he eyes are open and she can sit up but not walk yet. She'll stay in her little "bed" tonight and hopefully she'll e better by morning.

I'm so glad she peeped! Such a cutie pie. 🥰

Great job picking up on what was wrong and helping her.

Sorry just understood your last sentence better,if there's no long pieces around, then nevermind!

Oh stop!!
She is amazingly breathtaking (like Lilly, Fat Bird, Mary, Charlie, I think @micstrachan has one, sorry if I have forgotten others! My memory isn’t great)
Instead I got 2 Sussex’s, one speckled (whom I suspect is a mix because she’s not close to Snow’s girth although the same age) and a white one 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
I had grey marans lined up but a fair drive then i joined a local fb group and got these from a farm around the corner! 😁
I knew you had excellent taste

Do you fly Bob? Don’t attempt to judge me! I barely make the cut. But I still own my Skyhawk. And my vision is still good enough for it.
I don't fly, I passenger though.

I'm not judging, just poking at your choice of language. I am certain that you are able to fly safely and apologize for upsetting you. That was not and never is my intent.
