It's not unusual for eggs to sometimes take on odd appearances at times. Remind me, How old is she? Can you post a picture of her eggs?

Sure. Runner is a Gold Laced Wyandotte that is 2 years old, born on March 14 (or 15), 2019. And I'll post a picture of her egg today.

Also when I feel GreyWhite, my leader hen's crop, it's very soft, a little liquidy. When I feel Yellowie, my bottom hen (who was at the very bottom before our three new chicks came along), when I feel her crop, it's much harder, but still a little soft. Is there a problem with that? When I touched their crop, it was at night.

Did you give her anything to boost her energy?

A little bit of nutridrench, but I believe that's what caused the pasty butt. I've taken her out and she eats and drinks so I'm sure she's okay. Holding off on the nutridrench for today so it doesn't get so sticky.

My poor little rooster, I think he’s exhausted (chasing his ladies all over the property this morning.) He’s actually having to deal with eleven, very energetic girlfriends. And it’s hot here again. He does a great job, with his short Stubby Cochin legs.

Sweet little Phyllis, all puffed up

These tribe dynamics are almost identical to what I see when Ivy's broody. Ivy takes her time waking up. Janet takes the lead in scolding Ivy. Peggy menaces without acting. Mary ignores her. Now the funrun is finished I'll be trying to get the others out of the run when Ivy emerges, at least until she's finished with the basics, then Ivy can go out too if she wishes.

Yes, they are a much bigger bird than I was expecting & a very different sort of shape. The BRS & Wyandottes are large round balls but the Vorwerks are very long & wide across the chest.
