Look at Jaffar guarding those huge ladies! How tall is he? A Mighty Rooster in a small package! And the ladies look good, tails up and happy.Gratuitous afternoon chicken pic as I water my tree.View attachment 2784730
Everyone is happy (bird wise) on this funny farm. Thanks for the complimentLook at Jaffar guarding those huge ladies! How tall is he? A Mighty Rooster in a small package! And the ladies look good, tails up and happy.
At least he got down.....He has not left my side since I got back except to hop down and vomit on my office floor.
While I was on a conference call for work of course. Luckily I was prepared and muted.
True! I love the image the half-cow is bringing up!I don't think you need to hang up half a cow - a bite-sized chunk would be plenty for the flies!
That's so nice!Phyllis likes to get beakbook every now and then. Here's a post of her chatting with Peggy.

I know... what is UP with that?! My girls were doing that this morning! Possibly because they were still locked in the run and it was windy, they wanted to get out and find a sheltered spot.I will try and capture it - I am on a short trip the next couple of days so will have to wait a bit.
Today there was such a ruckus that both me and the Tradies working on the house came running - I could hear it in my office with doors and windows close and I could hear it - turns out nothing bad was happening they were just yelling because they can.

Yes, I imagine you would be feeling pretty anxious and disappointed. I know I was disappointed when I jumped on this morning and there were no chicks!I am not dealing very well. I'll head out to the coop in a bit and start refining it.![]()
