I can't imagine separating them is a good idea - they are social animals I suspect being alone is a stress in its own right. My only concern is if the black one needs the social support.
If left to my decision, I would keep them together
I've read a bit. You had them posted to you yes?All 3 are Alive
They are however very weak and I am very concerned that the legbar will make it. She is not standing.
they have been nutridrench'ed and are under the heat plate as we speak.

Is Mum the Answer?
So now that the chicks seemed to have leveled off I have a very important consideration. Please everyone think this over and respond with your thoughts.
is it time for me to turn things over to Phyllis. Would she be better able to bring them along or would she react by pushing them away thinking they were sick?
For some reason I am thinking that Mum could get them to eat better than I can.
This is a serious question. Please give me your honest thoughts on this.
My thoughts exactly! My mouth dropped when I saw him on, eyes wide. @Shadrach!!!Oh my gosh, you're here! Right when Bob needs you!
Bob knew you were going to scold him. He was already scolding himself.I've read a bit. You had them posted to you yes?
And, the post was late/delayed generally crap?
Now they are not surprisingly sick or just weak?
I'll read on a bit more....
I’m so sorry Bob. You really did everything you could. Perhaps she was the first to hatch and had the least reserves. The Legbar is Gone
She passed around 1:30 my time. Miss Legbar has passed on. We will bury her next to Dusty.
I would never separate them. I am certain that would be the end of them.I can't imagine separating them is a good idea - they are social animals I suspect being alone is a stress in its own right.

I told myself I would never get them by mail again and I did it anyway. There you are. Now they are suffering......Bob knew you were going to scold him. He was already scolding himself.
