:hugs:wee I'm thrilled phyllis has taken too that little one
All she's done so far is allow the chick to snuggle, and not rejected her. Need to see more momma activities, also that the chick will eat on its own again, if I understand this correctly.

Feed

I have spread chick starter and grit all over the coop. If/when Phyllis takes her out, there will be easy food to get at.
Any chance of a tiny bowl of water - something heavy that won't tip over - and really small so no drowning or taking up too much space - even a bottle screw cap would be enough water but is not heavy enough not to get spilled when Phyllis grooms.

Change of flight plans today. Military exercises in Pendleton prohibited 🚫 me from a straight flight across the ocean to San Diego. So I’m having a nice breakfast in the Porterville airport diner awaiting instructions. My bird is ready and anxious to fly! Yah hoo!
