My current adults were tiny chicks (except Silver) this time last year. We had so many grasshoppers that we started catching them (loading multiple into a large jar) and turning them loose in the chick pen in the garage.....they made rugby scrums going after them. This year, the adults keep coming up by the drive, where most of the hoppers are, to chase again. I think they're being greedy, though. They haven't brought the pullets (as the teenage croak is happening) with them.I just saw a white blur streak passed the window out of the corner of my eye, closely followed by a red streak. When I looked up there was Tsuki haring across the yard in the other direction with a cicada in her beak and Deana in hot pursuit.
She is still looking for a safe place to eat it.

Don’t wear printed flowers on your dress?Just went several rounds with Alinta. Even trying to feed her sprouted wheat didn't help, she just want to bite me and or tear all the printed flowers off my dress.
She’s given me antibiotics for infection and said about to do the ACV water. I will do the lemon and yoghurt as well, although she was saying something about a vet doing a crop wash? I’ll get on top of this.
