Yeah, probably lavender, or else their shades would vary, I think. Pretty sure they’re cochins. Lovely fluff balls!
Whether they truly are blue or lavenders, fluff balls they are. I am wondering though, Lavenders can have the feather shredding gene. While taking some more pictures tonight I noticed this girl. Her feathers look rough around the edges. She is almost 2 years old so I wonder if she is just getting ready to molt soon or if she is a lavender with the shredding gene.

‘Like Water For Chocolate’ is the only movie I’ve seen that sticks to the book like glue (and I can’t remember the plot anymore!) :old
You don't want to. That book was absolutely wild as magical realism is. My main gripe was how they treated the eldest sister. Just because she was doing what her mother wanted because she was probably scared of disobeying she met a gruesome death.

I recall I loved that film, but same as you, I haven't much of a clue what it was about any more :old

Hang on... A chocolate making single mother wins the hearts of her neighbours and then something went wrong? I recall it was a visually beautiful film.
Not at all, magical realism where the recipes the main character cooked effected people. The youngest daughter in the family was forced to never marry and care for the controlling mother. The main character's love interest Marrys the eldest sister and drama. Then there's some sort of doctor guy who makes it a love triangle I think.

Wow. I remember none of that.

Goodness I don’t remember all that. Off to find my copy. Need to re-read!
