What is wrong with this picture? Lunch today:
- cats got venison with pumpkin
- chickens got diced beef liver on rice with a cilantro tomato garnish
- I got a grilled ear of corn

Be happy you got the corn! My chooks would have eaten that too!

Yup. That's typical. Animals eat better than us too. At worst, the same as us.

I hid in the kitchen to eat it!
After their protein snack they all needed a nap in the sun.
Dotty chewed on my shoe then fell asleep on top of my foot so of course I forgave her.

I am being stalked every time I set foot outside now. The blue girls who still protest being touched unless it's bedtime when I can pet 5 out of 6 now hover and follow me everywhere in the backyard. I've also gave up on singling each one out with a name besides Flurry, the other 5 are Blue. They all look alike. I can also be washing dishes and just look outside and there they are. Staring at me and waiting, they know if there is left overs they get dumped into the scrap pile. It would not be so bad if they did not glare at me with angry expressions all the time. These 6 are plotting something.

It's almost been 2 months since Drumstick passed and Basil has grown up. Gone is the lanky teenager and now a fine young man struts proudly around in his place. He really is the spitting image of his daddy.
