Sorry folks, I just can’t help but to laugh. :lau . You all keep talking about that word “Bluish” (it’s the holiday season, and I believe that Adam Sandler is Bluish, and his songs get stuck in my head)
Oh, you said “Bluish” ….. Never mind
No offense to anyone, was ever intended. And I miss my hen “Canna” Laid the most beautiful “Bluish” eggs always!

It's I think Twofer Tuesday. Here are the double trouble girls Blueberry and Raven

Thanks. I will try and pump her up. Your scale works great by the way.
Yes. I am going to do another weigh in for Minnie in the next day or so.
I promised you pictures of Diana. I managed to get some of her tail. There are about a half dozen really ratty feathers but you can only see one clearly.
If you look closely she has some more at the base of her tail too.
The worst are those big long feathers at the edge of her wing which are very badly worn, but I need her to sunbathe and stretch out to get a shot of those.
These feathers have been like this getting steadily worse since at least June but maybe longer. And she seems to always have 1-2 feathers dropping but doesn’t seem to have a seasonal molt.

It looks very similar to Sansa but nowhere near as bad. I only got one weight measurement on her but it wasn’t alarming. So I definitely think a visit to the vet is the right call for Sansa.

Sansa Update

I can find no mites on her. Here is a picture of her father beds. I don't see anything.

So that's good.

This is not. Look at her wing feathers. There are only center stems.

The worst, she is 3.1 lbs. Everyone learn from me. I have never weighed her before so I have no idea how far down she is. Assuming she has a fighting weight the same as Lilly (similar in appearance) she should be 5 lbs.

At this point I think she is going to the vet. I'm going to get her an appointment tomorrow. I have no idea how long it will take to get her in but this is not right and I have never seen nor heard of anything like it. 😕
I think it’s great you’re going to bring her to the vet. I don’t like the looks of her feathers, either. However, my Bagheera did not molt until she was two years old and her feathers were looking quite ratty. Also, most of my hens drop some weight during molt. I guess my point is, I wouldn’t feel panicked, and I’m glad she’s seeing the vet just to be sure.

Those feathers look exactly like Aurora's did right before she dropped them. I consider that normal to a certain extent. I believe those wing feathers for Sansa are the NEW ones. That is part of why I am super concerned.

I am planning to take Lilly with her for companionship and to see if I can get something for her arthritis. Lilly no longer even tries to tilt to poo. It just runs down her feathers. :(

The little white ones with the pretty orange legs were her favorites. Patsy and Lilly were so big compared it was quite a shock. She loves them though in the end.
I know that...how can you not love them:love?? They are all just cute & sweet and endearing each in their own individual ways.❤️❤️❤️

I was just being a wise guy. (sorry, a bit of a warped sense of humor that doesn't always translate well 'on the page.' )

Glad you are going to the vet. My only point about Diana is she doesn't drop them. They have been like that for months and months which is more like Sansa I think.
Anyway, do let us know what the vet's view is and hoping for the best for both of them.
Poor Lilly - so undignified.
:(
