She has some partridge markings but I couldn't tell you for sure. All my partridges were/are Wyandotte bantams & they are partidge all over.can anyone help me verify if isbe is a green legged partridge? I think she is. I just want to be sure, View attachment 2924569
Oh dear!Sansa has been molting since labor day. Something is very wrong. I'm waiting on the vet to get back to me.
I'm sorry, Bob.Sadly there is not much available in the way of workarounds. I'm now limited to adding vaccinated 6 week old pullets from breeders if I ever want any more chickens. Any broody hatched chick will likely get sick and pass away before they reach 30 weeks. I have to assume that all the chickens I have are carriers so I can't let them leave here. Not that I would.
I think that's it.
I am glad I had the autopsy done so I at least know but it is a tough situation I'm in now.
She’s looking really healthy!Cloud FBF.

So, I know this place is in Cali, so not close to you, but it appears their ex-batts are vaccinated.@BY Bob,
Would ex-batts have been vaccinated as chicks? (I really don't know...only know that many hatchery chicks are done...have no idea about the commercial side of poultry) If so, they would be an option.
Not sure how you would find out, though. Maybe I'll do some poking. online!
I believe most egg farmers vaccinate their flocks to keep egg production high. So, I know this place is in Cali, so not close to you, but it appears their ex-batts are vaccinated.
