Trying to get motivated to go to the barn and do evening chores ... Very brisk out there! -18C already.

There is an almost full moon, and a clear sky.

Everyone is waiting patiently for their hay.

And the chickies are all sleeping soundly!

Everyone is back in the coop. Hen-Rietta is obviously nervous that she can’t find her sister anymore.

Thanks! She was one of the first to molt and is now looking really good with all her new feathers.

So peaceful.

Yep after bed time drama with the chickies, everyone settles down.

Chores done, I admired the stars, made a wish on the first star I saw, checked the chickies - everyone all cozy in their Hen House . Almost -20C now brrrrr! Bet it breaks -30 tonight.
