Maybe. Tonight she has gone to the main roost which is great because it is so frozen I can't clean out her nest box very easily as it is one solid block of yuk.
Someone sometimes roosts in the Omlet nestbox, or perches on the little divider between it and the coop proper, or takes a day break in there. But with the hemp on the bottom any poop, especially frozen solid poop, is easy to scoop up. Is her poop frozen to the wood bottom of the box?

I'm so worried that Betty will start roosting somewhere else. She is looking every night for somewhere other than by Phyllis. Then when she finally gets up successfully, Betty always scoots down next to Phyllis and Phyllis goes after her again. If I just separated the roost with wire for a few days they could see each other without the abuse.

I know, I know. Let them sort it out. It's so hard to a watch. 😔 Keep me on the right track @RoyalChick
Can you put up a small 'wall' on the actual roost - something just tall enough to prevent her from physically getting too close to Phyllis, but can get next to her.

I do this with any new horses, they can see, touch, and be close to get used to each other but can't physically kick the other and if the one horse gets too aggressive the other horse can move away.

My gang has lots of drama at bedtime, I physically place them in spots to reduce sqwabbling .

No - I use dishbowls - so it is frozen to the dishbowl. I can take it into the garage to thaw out and clean it tomorrow. Tonight thank goodness she is sleeping in her usual spot on the big roost.

Oh wow! I have a bunch of feathers on the floor, one is having a small molt that is a little noticeable. But she seems a bit “lethargic”
Sophia had such a miserable molt, not eating, I ended up doing scrambled eggs for her and mash. Also steak, roast and mash potatoes and veggies. I kept her in my office she was so cold.... Poor little gal.

You can try the scrambled eggs and whatever she will eat, at this point you just want make sure she is getting calories any way you can.

Oh and warm sugar water.
