We have veining!!!!!! 3 of the 5 silkie eggs just showed clear veining going on!!! The other 2 appeared to be potentially trying to start, but I think they may have been in a cold spot in the incubator so I changed their positions. I know things can still go wrong but at this point with 3 developing I'm thrilled.
been there- plastic looooves breaking when cold lolI did. It is plastic and at 17°F apparently very brittle.
It is the one hole in my chicken viewing. I am very upset that I broke the mount.
