Failure??Steak and eggs were a miserable failure. I decided to eat outdoors. BIG mistake. I was attacked, mugged and the chickens got all my breakfast!![]()
That’s probably why I do it!
I think it is still in the blister stage and too early to tell for sure. She might lose the little bit above the constriction or bend. I think once the black tip actually falls off completely would be a good time to re-evaluate the other tip.I don’t think Dotty is going to lose all of that second point. The one that was yellow. WDYT?

Preparation time, tenderizing and cooking. 30 minutes.Failure??I guess that depends on your view point
and/or definition of failure. By some measures, it was a rousing success!

Any idea how long before I know? I am obviously watching closely but she doesn’t stay still very often so it is quite hard to see.I think it is still in the blister stage and too early to tell for sure. (If that is, actually, a fluid filled blister, it is hard to tell the viability of the tissue underneath it. Also will depend on if the sensitive tissue is exposed to dangerous temps again.)
You should blow out & save Corona's egg! I love the large 'speckles', too.I've collected 4 eggs so far. Here they are and they are what makes me happy to see in a egg basket. From left to right we have Baby, Holly, Corona and Raven. Baby is back to throwing some spots on her eggs, but the base color is just way to light for me to hatch from her. Today's egg is my favorite from Corona so far. I really wish they were already up to hatching size because that one would have been thrown in the incubator.View attachment 3008754
